As of 2020, I am an Italian born adopted New Yorker. I am married and have one daughter Maria, who is 2 years old.
From 9 am to 5 pm I am a marketing manager: my days pass by analyzing consumers’ trends and behaviors, studying markets, and optimizing budgets trying to get the best ROI out of them.

Outside the office, I am a mom who doesn’t forget her passion for numbers. Especially the ones that come after the dollar sign!

My major in International Trade (in Italy) combined my love for languages (I speak 5) and for business management.
In the last year at the university, I meet a new passion in my life: writing!
I have been a journalist for more than 10 years. And as a content writer, I was creating posts for many business blogs.

I also have a master in Marketing and Business Management. In that period, I learned about managing money even more.
I am an avid reader, devouring books about, you guess, personal finance, and self-improvement!

MY STORY

One day I found myself thinking about my financial future. I earned enough to save money every month and I was happy with my situation. My salary was the highest that I ever received in my life even if I knew that it was under the average of other people who are in the same position in New York.
Then Maria came into the picture and I realized that what I had was not enough.

The present was covered but the future was a big question mark.

I had no idea how to sustain Maria’s education or being able to retire at the age of 65. Plus my husband and I knew that we want to give at least a sibling to her.

I started FGM as a blog while learning about personal finance and self-improvement in a moment where I was trying to understand how to fill the bucket of our future life.
I told myself: I need to give my money a purpose so that it can start working towards my final goal.
In this journey, I decided to share what I learned with other moms.

And here I am, now not only my money has a purpose, but I also have a new purpose: to empower women to create an abundance mindset, improve their relationship with money and create wealth for themselves and for their kids.
